I bought these for my wife because of her hearing loss. Normal TV viewing (listening)is strained and even more difficult with surround sound for the hearing impaired. These earphones have solved this issue. Better than expected run time was a bonus. Easy to hook up and use. Delivery from Amazon was spectacular. If your ears are larger than normal, they will find a hard time getting tucked into the limited opening of each ear pad. It took a little while for me to get used to them. Call me Dumbo.

Sennheiser RS 140 Wireless Balanced Headphones A great product. I challenge 'Bose' to beat the quality of sound that come from these. I've tried numerous other brands and have not been satified. The feature I like especially well is the balance controls. For people with hearing deficencys these headphone are GREAT!

These are the best. They work outside or in any room in the house. The batteries wouldn't charge when I first got them so I put them in a charger and they have been working great since.

A lot of the NIMH batteries for sale on amazon say they have to be charged in THEIR charger, and putting them on the Sennheiser charger would ruin them. Has anyone successfully replaced their batteries yet? Mine are starting to die in just a couple hours now (about a year old)

I am using this product from last 6 months. Mostly with my Laptop, after 50 odd minutes the headphone goes silent with beeps as the base station stops relaying the signal (all the lights on the base station suddenly go blank). The manual says that should be used within given room temperatures only (I use it at around 45F) still the headphone dies after 50+ minutes. Again start working after you use this after 1-2 hrs. Actually the company should do proper research as the technology is given to CHINA for mass production, there may be glitches, I don't think any one paying so high cost (I purchased for $156 as it was new that time). Definitely needs more research on technology or replace cheap parts used inside the base station.
